Slap the word Twilight on anything and it will sell

Australian Gold may need to bone up on their vampire lore before releasing their new Eternal Twilight bronzer.

"Be drawn to the dark side with our revolutionary B3 Ultra Darkening Complex enhanced with DermaDark bronzers. Laced with the darkest
ingredients, the profound power of this formula is hidden in its unique
combination of bronzers. The darkening formula can thrill you, bewitch
you and make you long for Twilight…the dark just before the dawn."

Pretty sure this ad campaign is following the slap the word Twilight on anything and it will sell theory. It's a valid argument, but when you cross tanning with it's literal opposite (pale skinned vampires), the message gets lost in translation. I actually think the slogan "make you long for Twilight…the dark just before the dawn." is kinda hot, but completely confusing to their subliminal target audience--Twilighters. It's not the worst attempt at leeching off Meyer's Cullen craze, but, then again, it might just be the sparkly rainbow packaging that has me "bewitched." Dazzled must be trademarked.
