Fans can pre-order The Twilight Saga: New Moon Ultimate Fan Edition on DVD or Blu-ray, as well as the national two-disc Special Edition DVD or Special Edition Blu-ray, today at Walmart.com.

New interviews with stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner, as well as with series-creator Stephenie Meyer, are integrated with revealing on-the-set footage of some of the key scenes and sets from the upcoming movie.

I have to admit, I've been losing sleep over which NM DVD to pre-order ever since last years Twilight debacle in which I missed out on Target's 3 discer. (Grrr) It's still
early (51 days away!) so, let's try to break this whole DVD cluster F%#k down so as to make the most TW-educated decision possible on which version of the New Moon DVD to pre-order, shall we?

Standard 2 discer Special Edition includes (cheapest on Amazon.com ,$20.49):

Audio commentary track with director Chris Weitz and editor Peter Lambert (Boo, no cast members); a 6-part behind-the-scenes documentary; band-rehearsal footage with Muse; music videos from Death Cab for Cutie, Anya Marina, and Mute Math.

Differences between other versions:
Borders($29.99)-

Exclusive packaging that compliments our existing Borders Exclusive Twilight packaging. Exclusive medallion necklace, gold side with wolf-pack tattoo, silver side is the Cullen crest on a silver chain. Includes previously unreleased EXTENDED SCENES; INTERVIEWS with cast members Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner, The Cullen Family, The Wolf Pack, The Volturi and Director Chris Weitz; unrivaled RED CARPET FOOTAGE from the movie premiere; front row seats to The Twilight Saga: New Moon WEBCAST.

Barnes & Noble -

Standard 2 discer Special Edition with Dreamcatcher Bag Clip, a metal dangle finished in antique brass that combines a circular dreamcatcher, a sculptural Wolf Pack-tattoo charm, a Wolf Pack jewelry tag, feathers, and crystals.

Target
($26.99)-

Standard 2 Discer special edition plus a third disc of never before seen content and a bonus collectible film cell. Sounds TW-amazing if they would tell us what's on that damn 3rd disc! Their website states to "check back for further details" regarding the illusive trifecta. (Quick note: if you go with Target, the films cells they're offering are limited quantity, so make sure you ask when you pick up your pre-orders at the store.)

Walmart Fan Edition -

Exclusive Eclipse 7 min. world premiere. The 1st teaser for NM was only 1:47 mins. Imagine what they can do with 7 whole mins!

Although Walmart basically had me at Eclipse, I'm not betting on them till their site is updated (pre-order for Fan Edition available tomorrow) the Fan Edition only has 2 discs. My question is: does it have the same features as the standard 2 discer Special Edition? And Target needs to let the wolf out of the bag about that 3rd disc. And then there's the issue that Borders is the only retailer officially stating it contains the "extended scenes" Chris Weitz promised us. Now, I'm not sure if they will be included in the Standard Special Edition 2 discer and it's just not stated, but that may be a deal breaker for me. Extended scenes are vital!

Phew, that was an information bomb. Now that you have everything straight--or are even more indecisive like me--which version are you ordering???
